Es ist das N-Piperidinyl-Derivat von Avibactam.cite-ref-5[5]

Anwendung

Relebactam wurde in fixer Kombination mit Imipenem und Cilastatin im Juli 2019 in den USA zugelassencite-ref-6[6] zur Behandlung von

β€’ im Krankenhaus erworbener bakterieller LungenentzΓΌndung (hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia, HABP) und bakterieller LungenentzΓΌndung eines beatmeten Patienten (ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia, VABP) bei Erwachsenen,

β€’ komplizierten Harnwegsinfektionen (complicated urinary tract infection, CUTI) einschließlich Pyelonephritis bei Erwachsenen, fΓΌr die nur begrenzte oder keine alternativen BehandlungsmΓΆglichkeiten bestehen,

und die durch entsprechend empfindliche gramnegative Keime verursacht werden.

Sonstiges

Pharmazeutisch eingesetzt wird Relebactam als Monohydrat,cite-ref-7[7] ein kristallines weißes bis fast weißes, wasserlâsliches Pulver.cite-ref-dailymed-3-1[3]
